ARE YOU TELLING ME YOU'RE NOT INTO CLASSICAL MUSIC, DAN!?
I wouldn't have known who it was either if I didn't see his name on the star wars RotJ soundtrack I used to own
but I already told stu that
And no... he's not god... most movie soundtracks that are all classical music are bland when taken out of the movie... similar to videogame soundtracks... which is why I like the Queen of the Damned soundtrack

I don't know who that is either. I'd probably hate him, though.

You guys don't know who John Williams is? He's only the greatest classical music composer of all all time!!!
He's responsible for the music from:
Home Alone
Jaws
Jaws 2
Schindler's List
Jurassic Park
The Lost World
Superman
Indiana Jones
Hook
Fiddler On The Roof
ET
Savinf Private Ryan
The Patriot
AI
Harry Potter
plus many more
and last but CERTAINLY NOT LEAST:
all of the music from the Star Wars movies (4, soon to be 5 movies) was composes by him.
He's far better, IMO than Beethoven, Bach, or Mozart ever were.
Here's a better listing of his work:

*slaps Jason1*
John Williams didn't do the Zelda theme.
*slaps Jason1 again*
That was Nobuo Uematsu.
*slaps Jason1 again*
John Williams arranged the Zelda theme for orchestra because he conducted the Boston Pops.
*slaps Jason1 again*
The reason you think he did the Zelda theme is because there's an mp3 (which I have) of the Zelda theme on orchestra which may credit John Williams as the artist.
*slaps Jason1 again*
But he didn't compose the song. He only arranged it for orchestra.
*slaps Jason1 again*
Starting to get the picture yet?
