Re: guess the fruit ;)
I can see... Durians, Tambis, Dukus, and Papayas.
Bet you girls haven't seen this:
It's called the Salmon Berry. It's a west coast North American fruit that shows up near creeks everywhere in May/June. I used to eat them on the way home from school all the time.
Farther in the continent, you can also find authentic, wild strawberries.
It's insane how much sweeter they are than their genetically-modified counterparts. If you go for a walk in a mountain trail, you may stumble upon a huge patch of them. They're low-lying, so you might not even notice them if you aren't paying attention.

Tambis? Eh?
I've seen fruits like that (the typical berry) but in different colours. I love that picture you took though, very nice

Re: guess the fruit ;)
Yeesh, yeah Water Apple. Cut me a little slack. Or better yet, cut me some Carambola. *rimshot*
Besides, at the Asian markets around here, hardly anything is in English.
The real wild strawberries look better than that.

Re: guess the fruit ;)
I don't really like much in the way of fruit so I doubt I would like any of those. But I do like Pomegranates

Those things are........ terrible..... at least I don't like them.
A lot of seeds.
The juice is probably not bad, but watch out because it gives terrible stains.
Edit: Talking bout fruit: strawberry

Pomegranates
Used to have one of them trees in front of me house... (Why the hell am I talking like that? )
How to eat them? Scoop the flesh out, pop them into your mouth and spit the seeds out. Never been fond of them though... Taste funny...

Re: Pomegranates
yeah, you break them apart and suck on the seeds
I started eating them because of a story i read... I don't buy them very often. Maybe once every 3 years
