Sly2 V Jax3 V R&C Up your...

Let's say, theoretically, someone was strongly thinking about buying a ps2. Let's also say that, this person has a think for platforming games because one of his (or her) former system flings was quite skilled in the action/platfomer category. Let's say that this person would be interested in picking up one or two of these games if he or she were to buy a ps2, which one or two should this person buy?

Personally i'd go for R&C 3, not only is it prolly be the best game of the 3. it also is the only one of the 3 with a multiplayer and online mode, which is actually pretty fun. Get a lot more bang for the purchase with that one.

If you want only one, make it R&C3. If you want two, include Jak3, that one's damn near close to R&C3's awesomeness. Sly2, although filled with much stylish and creative fun, really doesn't have a lot of depth, and therefore is mainly rental material.

If they were looking for pure platforming, I would say Sly 2. If they were going for more action oriented then Jak 3 or R&C3. It would be wise for that person to pick up the earlier ones so that the understand the story more so. WHich has the greater story, Jak or R&C?


And theoretically, is this person someone we theoretically know?

I havn't played any of them except R&C, but I have watched someone play Sly2, and I've been reading a little about Jak3. Out of the three of them, I think Ratchet looks like the best, with Jak in a close second, and Sly in a close third. I MIGHT be getting Jak for christmas...I think that would be awesome. More platforming/action goodness!

Yeah well, I haven't played any of them. I was just speaking from what I've heard. It made me sound sort of knowledgable

I havent played any of them.

I wanted Jack2, cuz it looked cool...but now with 3 comin out, theres no need for that. Same with R&C.

I havent played a good platformer/semi-childish game in a long time. Except right now, Im really getting into Dark Cloud 2.
