You contradict yourself, though.
I mean, you say:

And yet according to Dylflon in the last thread you guys were communicating behind the scenes:

To which you did indeed promptly change your vote.
So which is it, you thought he was innocent before? Or he's never been innocent? Because you're contradicting yourself.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
I have not communicated with Dyl until after that last round was over.
The reason I changed my vote, and the reason he suspected me too, was because my vote for Dylflon was a wasted one, with only a couple of minutes left and him having only 1 or 2 votes, there was no hope that anyone was going to go for him.
Like I said in the last thread, I didn't care who died as long as it was BaB, Dyl, or Jeepnut.
BaB dying has at least vindicated Jeepnut, and partially vindicated Dyl. I do not totally believe Dylflon is innocent, but I do so more than I did in the last round.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
As far as I'm concerned, this constant bickering always concerns the same group of people while we still have a number of others who are relatively "quiet" and just drop in to vote, say a few lines, and disappear. I'm not openly accusing anyone, but I'm insinuating that we should probably "expand our horizons."
However, that doesn't mean we should ignore the fact that we're suspicious of each other. I understand I'm a main suspect now, mostly due to my indecisiveness, my erratic voting pattern, etc.
Bube, I find it a curious thing that you are now voting against me when in Round 2, you rightly messaged me and told told me your thoughts on Combine being evil. However, in the same message, I believe you said Ric was in the same league as Combine? I should have believed you and voted with you on your first point, but I was sure Ric wasn't mafia (esp. since we communicated a lot). But whatever, that was just two rounds ago, right?
However, Angrist (I think..too lazy to check ) says I threw a vote away last round, and that I did. I didn't want any part in the jeepnut/BaB battle and instead voted for Angrist (which some have called a throwaway vote and made me look suspicious?) based on suspicion and his voting record... but you, Bube, had kept your vote for BaB until..
http://gametavern.net/forums/showpos...5&postcount=52
You retracted and "threw your vote" for Swan. My "throwaway vote" is seen as suspicious. Yours isn't.
Also, you knew about Fyacin and his role as the vigilante, along with Germanator and jeepnut. How were the members of the mafia able to kill off one of our most valuable members? Dumb luck? I find that hard to believe.
Lastly, I know you talked to BaB, but I'm pretty sure BaB talked to everyone he could talk to in this game.
I obviously suspect you, but I'm always slow with these sort of things. I'm currently debating whether or not to vote for you-- especially because I don't want my vote to be seen as a "reactionary vote".
But as I said at the start of this post, the same people keep bickering while there is still a odd number of people who are relatively quiet. I suggest we investigate this more.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
I'm not suspicious of BlueFire because he could have voted for Jeepnut and tipped the scale, saving BaB.
What we have to look at here is that they were 1 vote away from being tied. Anyone that didn't vote for Jeepnut is -probably- not a Mafia, since they could have at least tied it, giving them a chance to save BaB.
Unless...they didn't post, which really makes things hard to judge.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
So I won't be around at round's end to pass on info before I die since I'm helping my girlfriend on a photoshoot.
That means that I've only confirmed 2 good guys .
The pro side of outing them:
Nobody bothers wasting votes on them.
It narrows the field slightly.
The cons:
Once I'm dead, the mafia will go straight for them to make things more confusing for the villagers.
Nobody seems to be suspicious of them anyways.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
And for the triple post the two innocent players are Vampyr and Teuthida.
Vampyr is pretty sure TML is mafia so I'm rolling with it.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
Dude. Nobody cares if the mafia go after them in the next round. It's 2 villagers who are confirmed to be good. They already know that, don't they?
But we don't.
I think you're just stalling. If you reveal their names, you die and you turn out to be evil, you'll have us confused. Nobody knows whether the last mafia is among those 2 or not.
If you reveal their names, those 2 might say "euh circle of trust? I haven't communicated with Dylflon at all!" and you'll be busted.
If you don't reveal them and survive this round, you can play this whole game all over again in the next round.
Give. Us. The. Info. Stop playing with us.
Edit: ok there it is.
Vampyr and Teuthida, is this true?

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
Yes, it is true. That's why I said that I hadn't communicated with him until after the end of the last round, which is when he seered me, and why I said that I am no longer as suspicious of him as I was in the last round.
Teuthida can speak for himself when he gets here.

But if you guys are Mafia you know who the good guys are. So you just randomly start contacting them saying they're good? Seems easy enough. On the other hand, nobody else has claimed to be the seer yet, so it could be. Unless it's just a rouse to get the real seer to show himself.
At any rate, this game is getting too complicated. It's fun, but only for so long. I'm sticking by my vote for Dylflon, if I was mafia why waste the vote, my time, or make this big of a deal out of it (drawing attention to myself) when I could take him out after this round?

This is why I said I wasn't entirely sure about Dylflon, since he could be a mafia just pretending to be the seer.
But the fact that no one else has stood up and said 'I'm the seer!', coupled with that fact that he and Teuthida made no attempt to save BaB, leads me to believe he is the real seer.

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
Blah. This is getting complicated.
By the way, I was bored tonight so decided to come back for some more mafia love.
I still think it's a good idea to go after the quiet people. What are they contributing to the game anyway? They just enter the thread, cast their vote and leave again.
I'll stick with my vote.

Hmm, despite what I thought before, I actually think Dylflon makes a convincing argument and TML...I don't know... AHH confusion

Re: Mafia Round 4 - Six Million Forms of Communication
Yes, it's true Dylflon contacted me telling me he seered me. And then last round told me he seered Vampyr and that he was a goodie too. I would like to believe him but there is still no proof unless someone else speaks up as being the real seer.
I'm wary of the votes from last round. BAB hinted that maybe a couple mafia got into voting for him in the confusion. Don't know if he was just messing with me or that some of those who voted for him (and maybe changed their vote) were mafia.
When I didn't know who to vote for last vote and said I was going to go with someone from my list of unknowns, he suggested I go with Angrist. I would like to say that clears Angrist of suspicion but who knows how deep the trickery goes. Then again Angrist's list matches mine pretty closely...but I'm less trusting of some of those on it after BAB's hint.
