Well, not too long ago, Sony did some stuff and it cut PS2 manufacturing costs by a good bit... so that makes the loss not as big... but I'm pretty sure they're still losing something... probably... maybe....
As for Xbox and NGC... MS is still losing a bunch and now Nintendo is losing a lil' bit too

Yay! My prediction was true(I think it was in either the PS2 price cut forum or the XBox price cut forum), the 'Cube was gonna go down to $149. But alas, I already own one.

So, since I paid $200, will I be receiving a $50 refund or a free game of my choice?

I believe Microsoft gave a free game to people who bought the Xbox before the price slash in Europe.

Toys 'R Us is honoring the X-Box, Ps2, and GCN price cuts retroactive 30 days before the official announcements. So basically if you bought it 30 days (or less) before the price cuts they will refund $50, $100, or whatever...
(I think I remember reading that)

Well, I'm sure the President of Nintendo can work something out for those dedicated individuals who bought their systems opening day...
*receives a cheap, polyester, promotional, "official", Nintendo hat in the mail along with a chance to save 20% on a year's subscription to Nintendo Power*
... and yet somehow, I feel ripped off

What else did you expect? Did you want Nintendo to treat you to a free night's stay at the Ritz?
