Re: New Passtimes?
The only friend of mine who's not away at college is busy 100% of the time with his full-time job, community college, and girlfriend...
So I have a lot of time to kill on the weekends, and when I get off work... But so far no activities for me!
Once the paychecks start rolling in I'm gonna buy a guitar and let it sit in the corner and collect dust...
And my activity will be staring at it wishing it wasn't so damn hard to learn how to play well...

Re: New Passtimes?
Guitar isn't thát hard to learn... you just have to do it one step at a time. Or no wait, I tried 4 things at once, but the trick is to train every day for a couple of minutes.
I learned a bit from these nice lessons: http://www.joice.dds.nl/index.html

Minesweeper is a big pastime now. Its so addictive, and challanging when you create your own ultra hard games.

Re: New Passtimes?
I have discovered Addiction Solitaire on Yahoo Games. Its fun and I actually beat it once. I haven't played recently but its an easy way to kill a little bit of time.

I usually win like 3 to 4 games of solitare a day while I'm at work. Fastest time is 172 seconds.

Re: New Passtimes?
I have a few pasttimes of my own. This first one is playing saxophone. Seeing as I'm part of the University of Pittsburgh Marching band, I get to play a lot. I play my sax whenever I can in my dorm room, but that's not very often anymore with all the work that I have. Another pasttime of mine..which is sort of one, is just studying geography. I love learning about little details in every country. I'm pretty much capable of naming all of the countries in the world except for all of the islands in the Caribbean and Oceania. And a new pasttime for me has been taking pictures. I think that I'm going to take a photography class next semester, but I have no clue how much time it will take up.
