I agree that the Oracle games were very good. I loved them quit a bit.
Whats makes them so special is the password system. Also, being able to choose an animal companion made it awesome, and I LOVED collecting all the cool rings.
I thought it was amazing how you could interact with the characters. For example, being able to name that couples kid.
I also believe that it had a VERY interesting story line that suited the Zelda series very well.

I ranked the one's I have played. The only reason The Adventure of Link is so low on the list is because I haven't played it in a really long time and I can't remember how it compares. I was also a little kid at the time so I don't know how I can rank it with the others.
8. Majora's Mask
7. The Adventure of Link
6. Oracle of Ages
5. Oracle of Seasons
4. Ocarina of Time
3. Wind Waker
2. The Legend of Zelda
1. A Link to the Past

These are the ones I've played. I never have liked the Adventure of Link, and that caused me to not get more than 15 minutes into the game. So this might be a bit harsh.

Re: Favorite Zelda games
Hm... very funy how the opinions are so different... You'd expect MM to be next to OoT.. because they look like eachother. And some people actually like TWW better than OoT.
One hates Oracles, the other loves them. Same with Link's Awakening.
