What's IMAX?

Ehm, a worldwide release, does that mean it's on the same DAY, or even on the same HOUR? Cause if it's the same day, I would be able to see it earlier than you

Where do these things fit in?
Or is it more like triniton glasses? Nah that would be too expensive.
