This is the Big Nickel, which represents Sudbury's history in the Nickel Mining Industry. 10% Of the World's Nickel supply comes from Sudbury.

Here's the huge superstack (world's biggest smokestack) which pollutes the rest of the world.

Sudbury is a famous mining city which produces over 55 000 tons of ore per day. It has the world's largest mining complex, including the world's largest smelter and the world's largest smokestack. The city's "moonscape" has attracted people worldwide, including NASA. It is famous for Nickel and Copper, but also mines dozens of other metals.
