My favourite animators are Leiji Matsumoto and Akira Toriyama. If you don't know their names, to ring a bell... Matsumoto-san did the Daft Punk music videos a few years back, and Akira Toriyama is known for Dragonball/Z/GT. He also designed the scenario and characters for Chrono Trigger.
