lol. He's saying thats not the real 'my computer' icon on your desktop.
its a link to the 'my computer' desk top.
so in one way of thinking of it. you have a link, to a link, on your desktop.
(the little box with the arrow on it in the bottom left on icons means its a link and not the real thing)

nah, it's not a link to a link. it takes me to 'My Computer' I just copied the link at some point...can't remember when

well in theory, the real 'my computer' icon is a link to open up explorer and goto that place to start off with., a link in the sence of the word. not a link link. 
so yours would be a link.....to that link. lol i didnt say it takes you anywhere else.

Explorer is a link? Because when I click on that link on my computer, I get a list of my drives/folders.
I don't see how that's a double link...but whatever...this is starting to sound like a discussion about Zelda games

lol. if you understand how it works. you can see how it is a link. Explorer is IE, and the windows explorer, same thing really explores your computer.
The one that lists folders and programs and such. the 'my computer' icon is basically a link to that explore feature that tells it to goto the drive list area.
bah, nevermind.
