Wow. I can't believe people actually liked Metroid Prime. Most of the game was tedious, and when it actually started to get good, it just ended.

But to me, Nintendo just making handhelds would be cool. I still think the average 2D game is better than the average 3D ones.

lol... I feel the same way... just that I didn't play as much of the game as your probably did though

I need a game that grabs me from the start... Either with great gameplay or a great story, Metriod came far from grabbing me with either.

IMO it was fun UNTIL the end... In that last area where you gotta climb up to the area where the Metroid Prime is, and you have to avoid all those stupid metroids that split into two different metroids when you killed them (each requiring the use of a different beam to kill them)... And if you did kill them they'd just come back... And they could easily knock you off and make you start the climb all over again...

It was sooo fuggin annoying... especially on hard...

GC sucks major ass. When I got it i was expecting so much but its been pretty ****ty so far. Metroid Prime and Wind Waker were very whack. Fusion is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than Metroid Prime and the Oracle games definitely kick Wind Waker's ass. The only thing keeping me from selling the Cube is F-Zero GX. After I get that and play it for a while i'll sell my Gamecube.

But remember Bond, Animal Crossing was originally a '64 game (in Japan). So I'm pretty sure it came out before The Sims.

And on the subject of the 'Cube.
I've been satisfied with my 'Cube. I've had it since day 1 and I don't regret purchasing it. I liked Metroid Prime because it was an FPS/FPA and thats one genre I love. Wind Waker was great to me also because its a Zelda game and (almost) any game with Zelda in the title is good, IMO. People just complain because they think Nintendo's quality has gone downhill. I for one don't think that.

People will always find something wrong with a Nintendo game. They either complain X game is too "different" from its previous ones, or if X game is too similar to the past one's, people complain its not different. All I have to say is "shut up and make up your mind".

Nintendo should get more aggressive with their next console/handheld. They have been a little too passive (or whatever word I'm trying to think of). Since Sony and MS feel that they want to cram 50 things into a box, Nintendo should advertise heavily how its a dumb idea and its only costing more to the consumer to get things you either don't use or will sparingly use. Then heavily advertise how all gamers want to do is "PLAY GAMES". But alas, it probably won't help because people are brainwashed into thinking they need 50 useless things, and not just the core of what a product is supposed to do.....play games.

[end rant]

But it's still just a sandbox game, which have been around since the beginning of time.

AC is NOT innovative.

Metroid Fusion better than Prime? Fusion was sooo lame. The whole point of Metroid games wasn't in there: to explore and find out what to do next. Stupid computer .

Im agreeing with Jonbo on everything he said. I thought Metroid Prime was awesome, WW was very cool too. GCN is a little bogged down right now, but I am looking forward too Mario KartD and FF:CC. Those two games will make the GCN more than worth it, along with Harvest Moon and the new Harry Potter Quiditch World Cup game.

Agreed. I really enjoyed Metroid Prime and think it deserved it's 9.6/7 or woteva on IGN. Loved everything about it.

Zelda/Mario Sunshine/ED/Mario Kart/Mario Tennis/Metroid Prime/CVS2/Soul Calibur 2/P.N.03/Viewful Joe/ FF: CC/ AC/RE are enough reason for me to be happy with my GC. Even though Ihaven't played some, I'm eagerly anticipating them.

So stop downing the Gc so much

I like these games, whilst others may not
