Yes its all reviews. And you dont have to agree with it. Also, gamerankings.com isnt a very old site. Many older games like Mario Bros are to old and they dont have records for ratings of that game. And if a game was ported to say gameboy advance, it would likely not score as well as it probably would have when it was actually made.

PS2 Soul Calibur 2 is #52 and GC Soul Calibur 2 is #35...

Last time I check they were the same damn game.

Keep in mind that controls come into play when a game is rated.
