Color means a lot to a person, and don't you damn dare forget it. Seeing as how there were past disputes between those of difference skin tone, it is impossible for each and every one of us to "forget" the difference of appearance. And with that history of mentality, we categorize ourselves naturally, grouping together those with similar taste and style.
I cannot deny any man my honest heart based on color. However, I do judge upon character and regard for others in the line of respect. And, from where I come, those with a darker skin feel foreign to what I'd call civilization. Because of this, they tend to hide themselves behind a mask of attitude, which I dare not struggle to look past.
Race has its impact on society, to every single person. Yet still, it can be overcome.
