Re: is the GBA SP worth getting??
I can only stand to play handheld games on a TV. Just laying there being lazy is best for me. But thats just how I play

Yes...
I could never stand playing the original... The lighting was horrible, it made me not want to play some games, but now, since I own a SP, I always feel like playing GBA games. It's very worth it, and don't forget about the re-chargable battery... You can save a lot of money with that.

Re: Re: is the GBA SP worth getting??
It's definitely worth getting. I bought one a few days ago, and it's simply great. I gave my old GBA to my bro, and he says it sucks (the SP is so worth buying that my bro is also getting one). I can't see anything on the GBA now that I'm used to the backlight.
Plus, it has a rechargable battery. But it sucks when you're about to go out and it needs to be recharged.

That's why when you're at home you should use the AC adapter to play.

Well When the SP first came about I thought "Hey I can just deal with the GBA, it's still good, and I don't have another 100 to shell out for the SP." Well when I finally got a job I got payed and didn't have anything to do but spend the money. So I bought a GBA SP. Like until you've done extensive play with it you really don't understand. It's great. Like I don't know how I did without one. I play it all the time and I had no idea what I was missing. I can't wait for Metroid:Zero Mission. I had some trouble sometimes with Fussion because I couldn't see the screen because of krappy lightning. But no more my friend. I'm in love with the GBA SP. Buy now!

Re: is the GBA SP worth getting??
It's deffinately worth getting! I play mine everywhere. In bed, at work, whilst I'm taking a pooh... you know.. EVERYWHERE. HOWEVER, there is a little problem I've encountered. When I want to conect it to my gamecube (like in Zelda for example), theres an issue I've encountered. The left and right flippers get covered by the connection cord. Maybe there is another cord out there that I can use, but I haven't seen it. I am tempted to get another regular Gameboy Advance (non SP) so I can use it solely for the connectivity.

One the official one? I have a Nyko one that I use for the cable, and the morning I got the SP, I went downstairs for some hot Connectivity action.. but the L and R buttons were pushed down. I pondered buying the official cord, but nah.. there aren't really any games that use those buttons, are there?
Anyways, if they're supposed to be pressed down.. then I won't need to buy another one just for FF:CC.

i got one for christmas and i like it A LOT better than my regular GBA.... i have a connector (can't think of brand right now) that is only as wide as the slot it goes in (it does not cover up the trigger buttons. It also does double duty as a GB to GB connector.
