Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Help Center
If you have any questions about KOTOR please post them here.
Right now I'm up to the monster known as Rancor.

I think I'm nearly there myself. In the sewers right? Question: My health is very low and I have no medpacs left. Basically my group has no chance as is. If I go back to my hideout using mass trans, can i pick up supplies and then head back to the spot I left? Or if I do will I meet a whole lot of resistance from re-spawned pig dudes (they're pretty tough when they attack in groups)?
So far, I love the game and lost about 6 hours of my life to it last night

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Help Center
If you mass trans to your hideout I doubt you'll have that much resistance. But it's also a long way back to the sewers from the hideout. The formation I used was to have two people of your party use guns and one person use two swords. So then the person with the two swords draws the majority of the fire while the people with the guns blast the hell out of them.
I'm actually training to become a Jedi now. But I'm going to be gone for a few days so you'll probably get ahead of me.

If you leave the sewers, whatever you killed will stay dead so you don't have to worry about having to fight through hoards of Gamorreans again. I had the same problem with the medpacs.
I am, right now, on Tatooine, after the Jedi training, trying to do some stuff that I don't need to share and you probably don't want to know right now anyway.

So I'm on Tatooine and I went into the Sand People enclave and talked to them. The chieftain said he would slow down attacks on the miners if I brought him water vapirators. I went to Czrak and talked to them about it but they wouldn't give me any and there was no way for me to convince them otherwise.
The Sand People won't let me back into the enclave until I have the vapirators so I can't go in and save the Jawas so I won't be able to get the leader Jawa to show me where the Star Map is...
So, anyone know where I can find water vapirators?

*kind of posted this in the other thread*
Oh well... I'll post it again:
Right outside the room to the Rancor you will find a severed arm. If you open it you will find an item. This item is the scent of something that tastes good to Rancors.
Go into the the Rancor room with Mission in her stealth mode. Almost right across from the door is a pile of bones. If you search that, you will see that it has a grenade in it. DO NOT HIT A AND GRABD THE ITEMS! Instead hit X to switch to "give mode." You can then insert an item you have into the bones (you can also put items into other containers). Insert the stink you found in the arm. It will cut to a cutscene showing the Rancor eating the bones, and the grenade. It will explode killing the Rancor instantly.
Or you can toss grenades at it and duck back into the hallway. It can't get you in there. The above strategy is better though. Easier and you don't waste grenades.

Only got the game last night but I have made it past this part easey I just did a booter and leged it past the Rancor. Once you make it into the the other door it can't get to you but you can grenade it as much as you like. ease life!!!!
Made it to the fighting for the ship but got my ass kick (no medpacks left by then).

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Help Center
Well, I need some help.
I'm in the ruins where I have to disable those two droids to the right and left or whatever. I killed both of them but nothing happens. One computer is knocked out, so I can't do anything there. The one to the right is asking for the three death planets again, I give it the three death planets and the droid respawns, it's a never ending cycle. Any help?

Umm... I assume you mean the ruins on Dantooine?
You might be giving the computer the wrong environments. I never had any problem with the droids respawning so I that's all I can think of that might be wrong. Try different environments than the one's you're choosing...

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Help Center
Yeah, I just kept on putting in different environments and it finally worked. Which planet do you think is the best to go to next?

I just went from left to right: Tatooine, Kashyyyk, Manaan, then Korriban. I've heard people who had gone to one of the later planets first complaining about difficulty so I think its supposed to be done that way.

Re: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic Help Center
Alright, I suppose this could be a possible spoiler:
Do you know where I can get around 1500 credits? I need that much to buy HK-47.
