Mgs3
I can't really tell you guy's how I know so it's your choice if you believe me or not but the main character for MetalGear Solid 3 is big boss not Solid Snake. Big Boss is younger and look's like snake and the game take's place in 1960.

Excuse me, but my dad works for Konami and he already told me that the main character in MGS3 will be Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. Don't be making up lies! At least I can prove mine.
Proof-
DM's Father:"The main character in MGS3 will be Cloud from FF7, and I do work for Konami."
Case closed.

Bah how stupid... You're acting like you know something, but people have been speculating that it's Big Boss since the video was shown... Because there are signs that the game takes place in the 50s (or 60s or something, I forgot), and of course that would be too early for Snake to be doing his thang... But the guy looks like Snake... So it must be the guy the guy they were 'designed' (or whatever) after which is... *gasp*... BIG BOSS!...
But as IGN says, Kojima has a way to trick people through game previews... He kept Raiden a secret up until the release of MGS2 game while making it look like Snake was the main character through all the previews and stuff...

I heard one time when Big Boss ordered snake meat at a french restaurant and it wasn't called snake it was snake in paris talk or sumthing and then they brought it out in this bernaise sauce or sumthing and like Big Boss got all disgusted and threw up over the snake and then it slithered away. If.. if.. if uh.. if.. oh.. if.. oh. Ya he doesn't like eating snakes.

LOL! That was great.
And MGS3 is going to take place in the 60's.... Not that it's really all that bad, but... at the end of Metal Gear Solid 2... SPOILERS**
Otacon says something to Snake like all 12 Patriots died 100 years ago, but how were they behind this whole thing?
What a mystery, maybe MGS3 might explain some of that... maybe.

I'm guessing it will have something to do with the Patriots (well, the main clue would be because at the end of MGS1 it mentioned Solidus, then of course he was a big bad villain in MGS2, and at the end of MGS2 it ended with that bit on the Patriots), but the 60's aren't 100 years ago (even in 'MGS time', which I think is only a few years ahead of the present)... So hmm... I wonder how that's gonna work out...
And I hope that MGS3 not having a radar doesn't make it too hard... And they'd better not have top-down views for the game because it would be annoying having to constantly look in First Person or press up against something to check if there is an enemy around...

Personally I don't give a damn... Snake is cool, but eh, I liked Raiden's part of the game both gameplay wise and story wise in MGS2. If the gameplay is great, and the story is great, why does it matter if snake is in it or not?
Whoever it stars, I trust konami that it will be great anyway.

Damn straight! Curse the stupid people who complain about Raiden being a girl and crap... Although I do think they could have cut out some of that Jack/Rose stuff... I wanna save the game, not listen to them talk about lobster for 5 minutes

I thought Raiden was really cool. He was younger, he has more flair, and he handles that sword like its nobody's business.
And not only that, it was fresh and new, I actually preferred it this way, I thought MGS2 would just be more walking around with Snake, but Konami surprised me and I loved it.
But of course, Snake is still badass.

Yeah, that was kinda, well... pointless, useless, and annoying. But, I did like how the story flowed more than Snake's part... even with Rose.
I could kinda relate to Raiden though, because I was kinda new to the story ... On the original MGS I got nowhere. This fall i'll be getting plenty of MGS though.
