How is Sephiroth even that evil? I think the whole "I wanna take over/destroy the world*" is too easy to do, and overdone... That's why I picked some of the less-obvious villains... I think a lot of people just pick villains because they're in games they really like, or really popular memorable games... Like Bowser...
I guess it all just boils down to opinions though... And it's not even a big deal in the first place
