I think a good spanking can be effective once implemented immediately and once the parent lets the child know exactly what he/she has done wrong, then you can futher punish the child be taking away some of the child's privileges.
I know most people on this forum probadly think spanking is wrong or not effective and sometimes it isn't but then again sometimes other forms of disciples aren't too effective either.
It's something like what Jeepnut's slave said.
Oh and Stu because someone thinks that they should use different methods to disciple his/her child does not make them any less intelligent than me or you.
