Oh come on, you know better than to not take this type of stuff seriously, I'm only playing . I don't have a problem with you, I mean come on, to have a problem with someone in a forum over a differing opinion about video games...

Besides, I'm only giving you a taste of your own medicine ...

(Note to Stu: read what I typed before that last bit).

that isn't necessary for what "games"? Almost everything about the PC hardware wise is needed, for PC games... Go to dell's site, show me a PC where when you buy it you aren't buying anything that you wouldn't be getting in a console.

I can tell you off hand things you wouldn't be getting in a console if you bought a pc from dell (or anywhere)....

*WXPP
*exclusivity for Pc Games
*practicality for:-

- browsing the web
- listening/downloading music
- completing school/work/uni projects
- watching/downloadingvideo's
- printing
- multimedia
- programming
- playing online games

* Hi res output by default (by monitor)
* Faster and more accurate FPS games
* Faster and more accurate RTS games
* WARCRAFT:III!!

Er...........

Now THAT'S the spirit .

How did we get from talking about a handheld portabe to PC's?

Have there been any renders of what the PSP might look like? I wonder if it'll have an analogue stick, or maybe just the same controller configuartion as the DS/2?

You're arguing against yourself here. You're the one who brought up that a PC has more than one use. A PC is what you make of it, everything you buy is necessary for games. Now if you want anything else, like word processing, you pay more for it.

PSP on the other hands, does everything for one nice high price.

And I'm scared to see what the PSP looks like. Very scared.

You missed the bold "PC" before I said games huh?

What you get on a PC that you don't need for "console" games:

-Keyboard
-Mouse (more so than the keyboard)
-Monitor (must we buy a new TV that doesn't have a tuner for a new console? Nope, just use your old Muli-purpose one)
-Speakers
-Internet explorer (A network connection is needed, just not the net)
-Hard Drive (Needed for PC games, but we are talking console games here)

It's just a debate folks, now get back on subject. (in regards to page 3)

*thinks* And lemme know when more updates on the PSP come out. As stated before, I'm very interested in it. Portable RPGs of good quality *drools*. And I almost settled with GBA which carries but a few.

That's like saying you need a
1. TV
2. Controller
3. Power Cord
4. Scart Cable

when you buy a console. A PC is multifuntional machine. It's philosophy of being derived from workstation.

PCs are proffesional equipment geared by Microsoft to casual that don't know how to use more than 1% of it. Want to type, watch moves, browse the net?? Get Macintosh...

PC are a lot more than what you imagine.
