Ehh my parents bought my brother an NES back when I was a wee baby... But y'know eventually I started playing it and it was jolly and such and we had quite a few games (compared to how many games I had for N64, PSX, PS2, or NGC)... yep... Fun times... It's still one of my fav. systems of all time...
Then I was trying to decide on Genesis or SNES and I got SNES... mazing... LttP = Best Zelda game ever...
But before N64 was released I played RE and Twisted Metal on PSX and I had to have one of my own... My friends told me nooo wait for Nintendo Ultra 64 (which was a highly anticipated thang for me at the time) it will rox ur sox! And I was like no PSX has some uber mega rockin' games... And so I got one... *nods* and eventually I got an N64 after playing Goldeneye at my friend's house... But overall PSX was better than N64 like I thought in the first place... *remembers it's a Nintendo appreciation thread*.. uhh yeah N64 was still good though...
And NGC is ok... Zelda's good, Metroid's good, the RE games are good... a couple other ok games... *ahem* but to end the evening on a high note, Sunday-Monday was my friend's birthday party, and someone brought their NES and such and we stayed up all night playing the ol' NES games... Me and Allen beat TMNT2 using only 1 continue (at the very end, because he died earlier in the game and I died at Shredder) on our very first try... It was quite fun... And tetris, you were there too! And you too Megaman! Ahh *spins around in circles until he faints from the fun and joy of things*
