You didn't read my post. The concept of The Matrix wasn't
suggested in other films. A concept just like The Matrix was
the entire point of other films.
I'd also like to hear what these new ideas from The Matrix were. People have asked me to post stuff about The Matrix that made it unoriginal, and I did (with some help from Shadow Link as well). Now I'd like to turn the question back: what was new about the plot in The Matrix? I honestly don't think you'll be able to find anything that wasn't inspired by Total Recall or Dark City.
Don't misunderstand me. The Matrix is a good movie. I had a good time watching it. But it is not an original concept. It is not an original plot. And some people take it way too seriously.
