There's a difference, though:
We're going to
expect a Dragon Ball Z movie to suck and to basically cash in on the popularity of the franchise. After all, the movie just needs lots of big explosions, chi blasts, a kamehameha or two and lots of time spent watching the fighters act arrogant, get angry, have flashbacks or charge up their power. Then the fans will be happy.
Metroid can at least claim to be the name of some good games.
