New Games for The Ps2
Well, I don't have the new details yet as I haven't received my neweest GameInformer yet, but word going around is that the magazine features the first ever screens of Ratchet n Clank 2 as well as Maximo 2.
It also goes on to state that Sega will release brand new versions of Altered Beast, Vectorman and HeadHunter for the Ps2.
I'll see if I can find some scans before my issue comes.

What! How come PS2 get Vectorman and Altered Beast! I have those games on Genesis and I liked them both. Please let them come to Gamecube as well!

Well the first pics of Ratchet and Clank: Going Commado have been posted, I don't know if the site allows outside linking but eh.
There are 4 other screens over at...

And here is official word on Vectorman and Altered Beast for Ps2, also there is news of Maximo 2 in the magazine.
Quote:
The latest round of game magazines from hereabouts should bring news of Sega's revival of two classic Sega Genesis games. PlayStation 2 updates of both Altered Beast and Vectorman are in development -- the former from Wow Entertainment, the latter from Cel Damage developers Pseudo Interactive. We can naturally expect to get our first looks at both games come E3 time.
You'll have to get the full scoop on the printed page, so watch your local newsstands.

Hahahah... Altered Beast! That game will be awesome if they actually do it right.
"P-p-pooower up!" ... "Aaaooooeeiii!" ... "Wise Fwum yo gwaaaaves"
And, don't forget the "No Nukes" at the end of the game. Let's all prevent a second cold war together by playing Altered Beast! Yaaaaaaaaay,
On the other hand, Vectorman was downright awesome. I'm definately looking forward to these two titles.

here's some new Vectorman news
Quote:
Sega of America has confirmed that the new title will indeed be at E3. Right now, it is tentatively being called Vectorman (creative isn't it?) and is scheduled for an early 2004 release.
Currently in development for the PlayStation 2, Vectorman is a third-person shooter in which players take on the role of - you guessed it - Vectorman, a robotic soldier capable of changing into different forms. Players will have access to 15 weapons and as many as 25 upgrades while exploring the planet known as Gamma 6. Gamers will have to rescue Gamma 6 from the evil orbot named Volt. Sega claims that enemies in this new 3D Vectorman will feature advanced AI which will allow them to take cover when attacked or formulate strategies using different objects in the environment.
"Vectorman doles out destruction in spades," said Mike Fischer, vice president of marketing, Sega of America. "With a massive arsenal of circuit-shredding weapons and upgrades, things are bound to get messy. You'll almost start feeling bad for the orbots. Almost."

E3 has never felt so far away. With surprises like this, there is no doubt that this year's E3 will be astounding (but of course, it's always astounding)
