Sony is doing smart business. They are getting the maximum profit for their investment, thats what business is based on. Its supply and demand. People are willing to pay more for an inferior product based on the brand, so why should Sony drop the price?

Dropping the price without the market showing that a price drop is needed to keep up sales is just silly.
