Default Official Family Guy Thread!

Hey, who here likes Family Guy? I'm a huge fan, and just wanted to start a thread about it here at GT. My favorite episode is "Let's Go To The Hop", which is where everyone at Meg's school is licking toad to get high, and Peter goes there undercover as a student under the alias of "Lando Griffin". My favorite part in an episode is when the Kool-Aid Man busts through the wall at the courthouse in the 1st episode. It was so well timed... and just plain funny.

Oh man, I think Family Guy is freakin hilarious . I've watched it from the start and haven't stopped. You're right Darren, the episode where kids were "licking toad" and the Kool-Aid man thing were both great. Some of my favorite parts from episodes/episodes are :

- "Hey there's the guy that couldn't hold on to the soap" "Oh that was classic"
- Homicide : Life on Sesame Street "Bert? You're shouting again Bert."
- Stuff Quagmire says like "What's all the noise boys? I was just jerk....ed out of a sound sleep."
- The episode where Brian was in love with Lois. Especially "Well does this girl love you back?" "Oh, I couldn't imagine" "Well ya gotta find out for sure. You don't want to go through life wondering what coulda been" *changes to a restaurant scene* "Sir I need a decision." "Uh uh uh...salad...no wait! Soup! Soup!" "But it was too late. And to this day, I still lay awake at night, wondering about the soup that got away."
- "I remember when I first learned to use the potty. I was so proud." *shows pic of him as a kid* *then he runs in* "Hey Lois! I did it!"
- "Greg, where you smoking pot?" "No dad" "Well he's lying there's no doubt about that."
- "More tea Mr. Bike?"
- "Wait a second. You're telling me I flew all the way to Kentucky, to get some of your fried chicken, and the Colonel isn't even working today?" "He aint real, he dead" "What?" "I say he dead" *loud voice* "Is Mr. Sanders in?" "What wrong with you? I say you he dead." *louder* " The Colonel"
- "Hey give me back my sock, ya goat b**tard"
- The first episode that had Death in it.
- Speed Racer
- This House is Freakin Sweet
- "Hello, operator? Hello? Oh god, that's right you have to punch in the numbers nowadays. Huh, I should know this. Oh yes, 867-5309, that's it. No wait that's not it. Damn you Tommy Two-tone! Only one thing to do. 111-1111. Lois? Damn. 111-1112. Lois? Damn! 111-1113....."
- That old pervert they introduced into the show this season is pretty funny "Hey there, paperboy. You want a popsicle? Don't make me beg."

That show is the best cartoon EVER.

The "Hey give me back my sock you goat bastard" and "Nooooooooo! Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids!" are two of the funniest quotes.

Thumbs up

I just started to watch it, and I'm already a huge fan. I didn't think I'd ever say this about any show, but it's even funnier than The Simpsons. Every other line I find myself laughing out loud.

Default Hahaha

Here are a few of my favorite quotes from the show:

Peter: (drinks wine at church) Hey father, is this REALLY the blood of christ?
Priest: Why yes.
Peter: Wow! That guy must've been loaded 24/7!

Chris: Dad, what's a whale's blowhole for?
Peter: Well son, I'll tell you what it's NOT for, and then you'll understand why I can never go back to seaworld.

Peter's Tape Recorder: Lois, if you have not discovered I'm gone yet, please flip this tape over to side B.

Tony The Tiger: It was another banner year at the tiger house. You know what old man tiger bought me for christmas? Bought me a pack of smokes, said "Smoke up Tony! Theyy'rrrrreeee GRRRRRREEEEAAAAATTTTT!!!!

Lois: Peter, you're embarrassing him!
Peter: No I'm not. If I was embarrassing him, I'd do this! Hey! Everybody! Look at what Chris Griffin's father is doing! (grabs his breast, licks his nipple)

Brian (while in germany): Hey, this brochure doesn't tell about anything of German History from 1939-1945... there's just a big gap.
German Tour Guide: Everyone was on vacation! On your left side..
Brian: No, that's not right. In 1939 you guys invaded Poland
Tour Guide: We were invited! Punch was served! Check with Poland!
Brian: You can't just ignore those years. I mean Thomas Mahn fled to America because of Nazism's stranglehold on Germany!
Tour Guide: No, Nope. He left to manage a Dairy Queen.
Brian: A Dairy Queen? That's proposterous!
Tour Guide: I will take no more insinuations about the german people! Nothing bad happened! (Tour guide goes nuts, starts screaming in german and does the heil hitler sign)

Hahaha... I love Family Guy. There are more things that are funny, I just can't think of them right now... Ah well. I'll eventually figure them out. Well, one thing that's always funny is the Evil Monkey from Chris' room. Heh.

Stewie: WHY DON'T YOU BURN IN HELL!

Hey, does anyone remember what episode that church quote I wrote above is from? (The quote where Peter decides Christ was loaded 24/7)

I can't remember it.

Hot UPS Lady: Is there a Glen Quagmire here? I have a package for him
Quagmire: Hold On! (goes inside)
Quagmire: (Naked) I've got a package for you too! Heh, Heh, alright! Giggity Giggity Giggity!
UPS Lady: (sprays him with mace)
Quagmire: I've developed an immunity!

Default Well

In most areas it's on at 8:00 on Fox, actually 8:00 and 8:30 currently.

Teacher: (from like the 1600s or something) Well class, a girl got a math question right. You know what that means, don't you? SHE'S A WITCH!
*everyone throws rocks at her and kill her*

Peter: You may have killed her when you stuffed the one dollar bills down her throat, you may have killed her when you hit her with the chair. I don't know, I'm not a doctor.

Peter: Mr. Weed, I won't be in at work today, my family was in a terrible plane crash. They are all dead, and I am a vegetable. See you tomorrow!

Peter: You know, we've had a lot of laughs tonight. But you know what's not funny? Killing strippers. Strippers are people too. Naked people, who may be willing to pleasure you for a price you negotiate behind the curtain of a VIP room.

The whole episode "Fore Father"... where Peter tries to be a better father for chris. Especially where he teaches him to get a free meal by sticking a dead guy in his soup, or when he tries to teach him to eat an oreo.

Peter when he made his own TV out of cardboard and attached it to himself so it was like watching TV: I get all the channels on this thing... CBS (old people), Hey! UPN! (black people blaying B-Ball)

Heh.... this show is awesome.

It hasn't shrunk, it currently has 5,000 more sigs than you said it used to have.
