I have to agree with Stonecutter to a certain extent. There are far more levels in SMB2 that require pure luck than in SMB1. That's not to say though that skill isn't required to complete SMB2.
But anyway...
I still reckon that Metroid Prime deserves every single bit of praise it gets. And most definately deserves that 2nd spot at GameRankings.com out of all the games I've played throughout my gaming 'career'.
