Default Euro 2004 Qualifiers

Liecenstien v England.

A 2-0 england victory capped off by David Beckhams 25 yard screamer of a free kick, puts england 2 points off the top of Group 9.

Georgia v Ireland

a 2-1 Irish victory that was over shadowed by Hooliganism by the home fans at the Lokomotiv Stadia, many items, including a pen knife hit several of the Irish players, no injuries.

Wales v Azbekistan

a 4-0 thumping of the Azeris, Ryan Giggs had control of the field at will it seemed.

and the Biggest game still to come tonight

Italy vs Finland.

The Italians look to get back on the winning track after being beaten by Wales 1-0 in the last qual rounds, this should be a cracker of a match.

Yeh, that Beckham free kick was awsome. And if only Giggs could finish like that for Man Utd (especially against Arsenal)

The premiership seems to be hotting up now, it's going to be an awsome few months.

I can't wait for the Italy game though.

And congrats on your 5000th post.

Europe is so luckey.

Soccer is cool, but god it sucks in the US. I used to hate soccer, then the last world cup rolled around, and I realized that the only reason I didn't like it, was because the talent in the US is so low. It was sure fun to watch the US whip portugal and mexico in the cup though. Cant wait for 2006.

Weren't you happy that USA actually got further than some of the best teams in the competiton? Awsome achievment. I still reckon Italy were conned out of the world cup though, that referee was really sh!t.

Oh, and go Vieri!
