I thought the N64 castlevania games were fine... *shrugs* SotN was a lot better, but I still enjoyed 64...
I've been saying since like the beginning of PS2 that I think a 3D castlevania game could still be great, ESPECIALLY if it has the SotN-like RPG elements... And they tried to make it sorta creepy... not like with a bunch of cutscenes and pop-out scares like in RE, but just atmospheric...
But a game like contra would be fine too... 3D graphics with 2D gameplay... But I'd rather them try full 3D again...
And they need more outdoor areas like Castlevania 2 on NES...
