If your goin to get ANY MMORPG thats out or coming out soon, your going to have to pay a monthly rate all round $10 (which would actually be cheaper than MIR taking exchange rates into consideration and all) and this fee is for the basic fact that there is a team that works on and constantly develops new things for the game.
*and btw, i have no doubt that the soon to come out mmo's will prolly be a million times better than mir (especially concerning constant developments on it) so... yeah
