Post Game Of The Year

(so far)

my vote goes to Ratchet and Clank (PS2)

Ratchet and Clank is easily the best platform-type game I've ever played, and has made its way onto my top 5 games of all time list

honorable mentions:

SOCOM (PS2)
Kingdom Hearts (PS2)
GTA Vice City (PS2)
Madden NFL 2003 (PS2, XBox, Gamecube)
NCAA Football 2003 (PS2, XBox, Gamecube)
Tony Hawks Pro Skater 4 (PS2, XBox, Gamecube)

I'll tell ya December

So far, I would have to say Kingdom Hearts.... such a fun game

Either that or Animal Crossing. I love this game.

I really don't have any honorable mentions right now

I would have to say that SOCOM : US Navy SEALS is my Game of the Year. I have played this game like everyday since August 27. Even with all the other games that I have bought, I keep on coming back to this game. It is too good, IMO. in October, the glitches really hurt the game, but now people rarely use them, which is a very good thing.

Honourable Mentions :

Ratchet and Clank
Madden 2003 (all systems)
GTA : VC
Medal of Honour Front Line

Well...Kingdom Hearts, Legaia 2, Metroid Prime, Resident Evil 0, and Animal Crossing will most definitely be added to this list after Xmas, but my top award goes to:

Suikoden III (PS2)

It's just so fun, I love the characters, the settings and how the story is told. It's truly amazing and I thank Konami for providing such an experience.

Honourable Mentions:

Resident Evil (GCN)
Super Mario Sunshine (GCN)

Games That I Was Majorly Dissapointed By:

Eternal Darkness (GCN)

Well, I have to play Metroid Prime first. I think you should have made this around December. Also, so far, my GAME OF THE YEAR award goes to none other than Square's highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts.

Before Nov. 18th-I would say Animal Crossing or Super Mario Sunshine. I can't stop playing AC. It's too damn fun/addictive!

Honourable mention-GTA:VC(, 'Cube fanboy saying a PS2 game is good) just 'cause my friend has the game and I like it.

After Nov. 18th-Metroid Prime.

this may change after xmas, but right now this is my list:

Game of The Year:

Kingdom Hearts

it was an experience i'll never forget. it was fun, fast, and fresh. i loved it. from start to finish, this game was amazing.

Runner-up:

Suikoden 3

it was hard to decide which game was better, S3 or KH. S3 surprised me with its amazingly fun gameplay. it has an awesome story, great characters. I love it! but KH impressed me just slightly more than S3. S3 is a traditional rpg, and i've played tons of those before, but KH was something different, it blew me away. but never the less, S3 was awesome.

Honorable Mentions:

Super Mario Sunshine
Rachet and Clank

this list might change after xmas, when i get animal crossing, legaia 2, and metroid prime.

Games that majorly dissapointed me:

Star Fox Adventures

unfortunately, this game wasnt anything like i expected it to be. some people may say differently, but IMO this game was boring as hell.

But you gotta admit the final boss battle and ending was very good. I was totally not expecting the Boss battle I got. It sets up that Traditional Star Fox game that is in the works very nicely I think.

So far... I'd have to go with Timesplitters 2 because I had the most fun with it... but I haven't played everything I need to play to make this decision. So far my top 5 list is (in no order)

-Madden 2003
-NCAA 2003
-Tony Hawk 4
-Timesplitters 2
-GTA Vice City

But that's just from what I have played.

So far, the best game this year, IMO, is Timesplitter 2, by far.

Hopefully, however, Metroid will surpass it.

GTA 3 Vice City... Yeah whatever.

I really haven't played any of those games you mention, except Mario Sunshine. Soon I'll have TS2 and later Metroid Prime...
