As of October 2001, Ps2 didn't have a competitive line up with Xbox and GCN?
Lets even look in the future.
December 25th 2001 for Ps2 vs December 25th 2002 for GCN/Xbox... who has the best line up?
I'm not going to say Ps2 has the best (even though it could be argued) but I will say it is more than competitive. My Personal #1 pick would be Ps2, then Xbox, and GCN far behind in third.
