How many blocks does an Xbox memory card have?

I got a strange feeling that my Xbox will one day crap out on me. I'm getting more and more disc errors, and I want to backup my saves periodically so when it finally dies, I can exchange it and have my saves.

Sorry I don't know How many blocks the Xbox card has on it but i do know it's 8MB in size like the PS2 one.

I got one today. 502 blocks. Not much if you add Halo saves. But enough to prepare me for when MS decides to kill my Xbox. It's running Windows, it will happen.
