Well Gekko...
Beware of "ALIENWARE"! If you thinmk the mother ****ers at best buy suck Shi+ you need to get a load of this:
I got my PC back from Alienware after a nice "Disaster" that I'm sure you remember. First the ****ing @$$holes broke the damn yellow door off of the PC in shipping because some yahoo in florida dosen't know what a ****ing piece of damn scotch tape is! No biggie right, I'l just get a new door shiiped to me, right? Wrong! After I talk to Customer Abuse--I mean service they want me to pack the motehr-***ing PC up and send it back,AGAIN!!! I was two-seconds from sending it back when my father grabs the phone and yells at the poor b@st@rd on the other end "How loong is this kid gonna have to wait ofr his ***ing Computer?!?" The Tech who is now scared to death explains there "Policy" about PC-Doors and why I should have to spend $$$ to ship a 50lbs PC to florida for a 5 ounce door! My dad gets them to "Break-policy" on a one-time basis and send us the d@mn door. All's well int he land of AlienWarce PC's, right?
Wrong again! Not even a week after the "Repair" or Joking lack there of that "Alienware" made, they PC is fried again. I try the usual stuff but it won't even boot into Windoze safe mode, and my Recovery CD is Fsked up beyond belief. That's another "part" that they won't replace. I "try" to call Tech-Support, noticve I used the word "try". Every time I go to call them I get Disconnected halfway through the dialing process. Now I'm ****ing p*ssed! I call Customer Disatser, I mean serivce, service, and tell them I need to speak to a godd@amn Tech and can't call there Tech-Support Line because they keep disconnecting me! They quickly transfer me at which point I repeat the "Standard" repair procedures I've already tried, the Tech dosen't know his elbow from his @$$. Finally he tell's em to send it back to Florida again, this time I have no choice, I can't get into "Safe Mode" and the Recovery CD is defective, so I can't re-format, the BIOS changes they suggested were crap, and now my PC is back at the AW factory! I'm stuck on a lousy Gateway 2000 (yes it's that old that it has the old 2000 logo) with 300MHz worht of Winblows suckage, and restricted net-access because I'm using my Parent's PC.
The worst thing is that my Once-Great $3000.00 PC is now worth about as much as Enron stock!
Then two-days before the "disaster" I bought "Star Trek: Bridge Commander" with some amazing eye-candy. Now I'm playing it with specs that really are the bare minimum and Low-res graphcis that make this ships look like they're built from wodden baby blocks!
Three things I've learned from this:
1. Make sure the ****ing Recovery CD works before you use your PC.
2. Never, ever buy another PC from Alienware or anyone else, build your own Computer.
3. Anything under "Warrenty" is automatically "programmed" to self-destruct the day the warrenty expires although this also backfires in most cases.
It's my personal belief that things under a warrenty are designed to break the day AFTER the warrenty expires.

Thanx Cyrax. Next time I decide to buy a comp. I will make sure its not AlienWare after what you said. But I agree comps. have a secret code to destruct the day after warrany expires. But next time, if you have a CD burner, I'd recommend making 2-3 backups of the recovery CD and everything else. Just seems logical for me to do something like that.

UPDATE! w00t! Aren't you all excited?
I got my camera today. Only been a month. Anyway, I got it back. If you remember, the flash card wouldn't format. Well I got it back and they said they replaced the broken flash card. Huh? Could've fool me. You took the ****ing flash card out and gave me back my cameraback ****ers!
Call em and get it back right? Well Best Buy will be happy to replace it, problem is they don't sell it. "We'll give you a new one, how big?" 340MB bitch! "Uhh... they don't make them that big. It should be like 32 or something." Three hundred and mother ****ing forty, eat it bitch! (Should I tell him a 1GB model exists?) "Umm... I'll need to call you back." **** you!
Way back when I got this camera, it sold for $7999 (damn prices have dropped), with a 16MB card. Then sold for $999 with the IBM Microdrive 340MB card. It cost me an extra $200 to get the ****er bundled it. At the time it retailed for $450.
I just checked, it still goes for over $150. No way I'm just gonna let the ****ers steal it. They **** me over by making me buy the ****ing plan, they instead of replacing my camera, they steal a $150 card out of it? ****, they stole my batteries too, but I won't bring that up
What a ****ing scam. I'm getting my ****ing money back even if they make me go to court. Best Buy ****ing owns me a new camera, and $20000 plasma TV for damages

Start going to all the local television stations, newspapers, you name it. If it gets out good enough, go to CNN! Best Buy will have to give in since they don't want a bad rap for the company.

Well got my card today, as expected, no work. Thankfully I had a nicer tech guy and manager to talk to this time. They were hesitant at first, but considering it's the second camera and they even shipped it back to Casio to fix, they were clueless. I ended up swapping it for a 4.0 megapixel Sony Cyber-shot. Granted I lose money with the deal, I still end up with a camera that's likely better than mine, smaller, and will work. All I want is a working camera.
Anyway, I took a couple of pics, without knowing how to use my camera, and they look good. Hopefully I'll luck out and finally have a good, working camera.

This is why I get disposable cameras that come with free developing, and the option of getting the pictures onto a CD where I can put the pictures that I like onto my hard drive. This way it is fast and cheap, the way I like my hookers.

Who doesn't?
As for the cameras though... They're fast and cheap, which translates to them sucking (No intended relation to the hooker thing). There's never zoom on them, never any this or that, or any other little fun useless junk.
Death to disposable cameras!

I believe the url is www.bestbuysux.org they feel your pain, as do I.
I once tried to return a movie after christmas (because I already had a copy of spaceballs) and, even though it was un opened, they would not accept it because there was no reciept and they didn't know if it was more than 30 days old. Now, what's the big deal? It's not like it's going to go bad after 30 days? If it was opened and I had claimed that it didn't work than I would agree with them but I thought that was pretty stupid considering the fact that I would have been happy with 14.99 in store credit. Now I refuse to buy anything from best buy other than games, music and dvds because it's stuff I know i'll never have to return.
