Okay, I am confused about the PS2 Modem. It obviously has no port to plug in a cable wire so does this mean that you have to do this:
-----(cable-wire)----|CABLE MODEM|----[ethernet-wire]---PS2

Because the modem only has a phone line prot and an ethernet port. If I am understanding what you guys are saying (maybe I'm not), whats the point of buyin a router? (Okay I dont know a lot about PCs and cables and stuff so give me a break). Unless the router is for ethernet wires?

Originally, it would be like this:
----(cable-wire)----|CABLE MODEM|---[ethernet-wire|---PC

Someone please explain.
