well, the cable modem is at one end of my room. maybe this is important: there is already a hub (or a router I am not sure) behind my computer...one end of it goes to my modem, one goes into the bottom of the wall...and the other end goes into the wall again...the stuff I want hooked up is on the other side of room (my room isnt big its just rectangle shaped).
