1. Which type of film / film genera do you enjoy the most.
Comedy & Sci-fi

2. What was the last film you saw in the cinema / movie theater?
Star Wars Episode II: Attack of The Clones

3. What attracted you to / made you want to see this film?
Wanted to see what all the hoopla was about and the yoda scene everyone kept mentioning.

4. What type of new films and new ideas and concepts would you like to see on the big screen?
Would just like to see more mature aimed animated films produced in America. (Waking Life sucked) or A series of movies with real character development and not just make a sequel with the excuse of making a sequel.

5. Does a film produced by a reputible company or producer (eg George Lucas) with well know actors attract you more than a lower budget film with lesser known actors?
Sadly yes.

- Ok that will keep the teacher off my back for a bit, I will ask you more questions at a later date, thankyou for your time.
1. I enjoy a lot of films, but I most prefer well scripted dramas or black comedies that make you think, eg American Beauty, Gattaca

2. Roberto Succo, a film about an Italian serial killer. Even though the lead actor was fantastic, the script abd direction left alot to be desired.

3. It had got a very mixed range of reviews, so me and my flatmates decided to do see what we thought of it. But the lead character sounded fantastic, and he was.

4. To be honest, I can't think of any "new" types of things I'd like to see on the screen - as far as I can remember, everything has indeed been done before.

5. No. I tend to find the most interesting films come from the smaller companies (Pi, Memento), or new "undiscovered" directors (Pi, American Beauty).

Actors tend to mean little. Some are better suited to particular parts (eg I know if I see a film with A;an Rickman cast as the bad guy, he's going to be damned good at it), but I don't limit my exectations of a films worth by the actors in it. I've seen some brilliant acting in films done by actors who are either a) cr@p or b) unknown or c) both. Take The Princess Bride for example. Unknown actors, fantastic script, utterly stonking movie.

Script and direction is everything.
