USA!!!! Round of 8!!! OMG!!!!
AHHH!!!!!! We beat Mexico 2-0!!!!!! We advance to the round of 8!!!!! This is our first shutout since the 1-0 victory against England in 1950!!!! This is the farthest we've ever been in a World Cup!!!!!!!!!!!!
AHHH!!!! This is sweet!!!!
Anyway, the Mexicans play really cheap. It's a disgrace to the game, really. But it didn't help them. w00t!!! w00t!!! w00t!!! Suck on that Peppy!!!!!
USA vs. Germany Friday. DAMNIT! The two teams I'm cheering for. Germany was supposed to win the cup, USA suck it up like normal, no conflicts. Now USA has made it, and Germany is doing so well, I don't want to see them lose. Noo... can I cheer for both? Of course not, but...
My god! Go USA!!!! USA!!! McBride, you're my hero!!!! You too Donovan!!!! Freidel I love you!!!! We won!!!! w0000000000000000000000000000t!!!

I think it's less that they play cheap and more that they were just getting frustrated at not being able to score. Especially after the second goal.
How about that John O'Brien hand ball in the box. That was pretty cheap too.

That was a different kin of cheap, not like dirty cheap, but Mexico got screwed out of a PK cheap.
Oh well, I can easily see how the ref missed that, as full speed it's hard to notice. But we did luck out

It wasn't O'Brian's handball, it was Berhalter's.
The ref wasn't very good anyway. But he shouldn't have missed the handball. His biggest mistake was that, but he did make a few more.
I just can't help criticize the refs. Maybe it's because in Turkey, everybody thinks the refs support the other team. So do I.

That would be unbelievable if somehow the US managed to win the cup. No one would have imagined it 20 years ago. Anyway, what time is that Germany vs. US game on? Germany won't be easy, but anything an happen in soccer.

No one would imagine it now either. But even IF we lose (anything can happen ), we would still be one of the top 8 teams in the world. That would kick ass.
But we really need to win it this year. Then the USA will own soccer for a year. Because out Women's team is WWC 99 winners. So we'd have the 2 best teams in the world.

It would great to see America win. That would be a huge upset.
Anways... Go Brazil or Germany!!! Yeah!
I don't know too much about soccer, but the only names that I know are Renaldo and Rivaldo... And they are both on Brazil. Yeah.

What did you mean by that? I'm a little slow at the moment, and I just couldn't understand what you meant.

One of the Turkey players hit that Romario with a ball on his leg and he fell like he was hit in the face. I don't want Brazil to win.
Too bad they beat our neighbours, the belgiums.

No, it was O' Brien that had the hand ball. Just read any article that talks about it anywhere.
Anyways, I just wanted to clarify that.

I can't believe the chances the Americans got in the first half... After missing so many, they deserved to lose the game.
