Default Half-Life 1.1.1.0, Counter-Strike 1.5

New Half-Life updates have been released. Anyone want to test them out with me?

Half-Life:

Full (82MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?...318&file=57317

Patch (12.2MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=57318

Counter Strike:

Retail Full (115.5MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=62470

Retail Patch (19MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=57319

Mod Full (121.3MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=57255

Mod Patch (6.5MB): http://www.fileplanet.com/index.asp?file=57808

Actual changes are listed under any of those links. For non-English versions of the patch, visit FilePlanet. And if you don't like waiting in line at FilePlanet, it's why you get a personal server like me

Anyway, I'll let the downloads finish, then test it out a little bit. Let me know if you're up for a game or 20.

No my problem was weird... I installes half-life but it never asked me for my cd-key so i was like whatever cause i could still play the game. So later i decided to download CS 1.3 ... I downloaded it, installed it and everything then i clicked on play multiplayer and it told me I needed another update.... I downloaded that and thats when things started going bad. Every time i tried to download it said that the download could not be completed.. So i went to the Sierra website to download it from there... then when i tried to install it told me to put it in the half life directory ... i did that and it told me that it wasnt the right one... eaven tho it was.. the one in Program files. After trying a bunch of other ones it finally told me that i found the half life directory but it said that I had half life installed in an unknown programming language so it couldnt update... My comp would then freeze up and i needed to restart my comp...

I cant explain my self when im typing oh well

Weird, the only problem I have with Half-Life is that I can't play Single-Player. Don't know why, but after completing training it freezes. And considering I can't select new game, I assume you can't play without beating training, therefore I can't ever play.

Oh well, I was looking for a way to edit a config file so it thinks I beat it, but haven't found one yet. I know with UT you can do that.

Ya, I'm good with the rest of the series, just Counter-Strike is messed up. Is there no single player, or is it just my game?

Pfft... post cramming means posting just for posts. You're being a good forum citizen and answering questions.

Almost done with these damn downloads Takes so long, because I download the full version for backup purposes. Of course, UT2K3 transfer is hogging some bandwidth, so it's only going at like 50K/sec.

Hmmm.. I dunno if you've posted it yet but what are the recomended system req for this game... I know im gonna be getting a job this summer but I need a WHOLE new system cept for maybe moniter and tower... the rest is utter crap

Im thinking of buying a custom comp... like buying parts and having someone put it together for me... How much you think it would cost just to get a decent system that would be able to run UT, CS, Doom III ( maybe ), and never winter nights? I want it to be able to run these games at about 30 fps or higher...

Well im postin like every 5 min and im kinda trying to get to 1500 posts for some mo dblns
Isn't this why leatherface got banned? He posted a lot.. like every minute, or is it just that he was really annoying ?

Retail if if you went to the store, and bought Counter-Strike. Mod is if you downloaded Counter-Strike.
