My PC may be down for repairs, but I'v managed to "borrow",ok steal some time on the family PC, and I'd like to thank Ric for this topic.
Here's what I think is in Area 51. I think we have some knowledge of a spacecraft, or UFO of some kind but that's it. Notice I said or UFO and not just an Alien spacecraft.
Here's why. We know that with the amount of stars in the sky we CAN NOT be alone in the Universe, however my Grandfather was in the airforce in WW2 and he had alot to tell me, including what the general public already knows, half of those UFO's are from EARTH! They're UFO's because the craft haven't been shown in public yet, but they don't have to come from uter space bearing gifts of "Little Green Men" as most people would think, so are they''re UFO's yes. A UFO is an Unidentifed Flying Object, it dosen't have to be from outer space to be a UFO, could we be hiding "Aliens" there, yes, is it likely, probably not, the government leaks so many scerects that if there were Aliens there, we'd probably know something about them by now.
Also what's in Area 51? Go to www.Alienware.com and see what's in the box j/k (anyone who owns an Alienware PC knows what an Area 51 is).

That would be tough to know about Area 51's secrets and not be able to tell anyone. I doubt there are any aliens at the the base, but I'm sure there's technology that's at least 20 years ahead of what we know about.
In 1967, Lyndon Johnson accidentally revealed an airplane that was in existence. That airplane was extremely advanced for it's time and still nothing has come close to surpassing it. That plane was the SR-71 Blackbird. The Blackbird can fly at an altitude of 100,000+ feet at Mach 3.5(4,520 mph). Now, just imagine what kind of technology they have in Area 51. I know that there's an airplane called the Aurora that supposedly is very advanced, but I doubt they'll reveal that unless they need to or until other countries develop the same kind of technology.
And btw, I had hamburgers for dinner tonight aswell.

Just watched a History Channel UFO special. During the cold war, we were trying to develop a plane that could fly over Russia, basically spying on them without ever being seen. What we had invented, was the U2. But, Russia had a missle system that shot down one of our planes, so the U2 was scraped. The U2 was responsible for half of all the reported UFO sightings in the 50s and 60s. They said is was made from polished alimunum, so the reason you saw things in the sky was because it flew so high up (60K ft.) that you actually saw the sun's rays deflect off of it.
Then, we developed the SR-71, like Jin said. Those are the only 2 things that were proven to come out of Area 51, or at least released.
But keep in mind, for every successful aircraft, comes many unsuccessful ones. And come on now, you really don't think we gave up on that plane, do ya?

So you're trying to say that the other half comes from space.
