"Battlefield" series in space... seriously.

Each team has a admiral that captains a mothership, as well as helmsmen to operate various functions of the ship, and defensive gunners.

The ship can launch fighters, torpedo ships (to kill the mothership), and transports (to board the mothership).

Soldiers can pilot ships, man anti-air guns, cannons to attack the mothership, or be marines that can board other ships, or defend boarding by another team.

Hell, you could even have other, larger capital ships available to support the mothership and have a crew of two or three at most.
