Re: Hitting a Female?
I've been asking this question since I was 5!
When I was in elementary they pushed the "everyone's equal" thing pretty hard. So one day I picked a girl up off of the slide and dropped her on the ground. Same thing I'd have done if it was a boy. No idea why I did it - but it happened. All the (female) parents rushed over and started giving me shit. "You can't hit a girl", "It's not okay to hurt girls", so my 5 year old brain thought it was clever to say "But isn't everyone equal?" my mom had a good laugh while walking me away.
Anyways, I'm a fan of (In general, not like a personal philosophy): If you're willing to hit/hurt someone else, you better be prepared to get hit/hurt right back. Gender not optional. Age up for debate.
