It looks interesting. I can always play another zombie game. But I like the openworld aspect of this one. I will wait to see the score and then pick it up if it's good. I won't have too much money by then.

Dead Island looks really fun, actually.
Then again I never overplayed L4D (I always said I'd enjoy it more if it were open-world, like this is).

I may have heard about this and just forgotten, because now that I've seen that footage I remember being pumped for a zombie game - this was probably it.

How is Borderlands, anyways?
A buddy of mine left that game at my house for maybe 4 months, and I didn't touch it once before giving it back to him. Big mistake?

I liked it well enough! If you're not a very offensive class (aka not a sniper) the game is easy enough to get through on your own. If not co-op is your buddy.

I'm sorry, I don't see how it is like Borderlands. And it's funny that every game is like borderlands nowadays (at least on youtube). And speaking about that, I'm looking forward to Firefall. The game is an FPS blended with MMORPG qualities and... somehow there's borderlands in there. I suppose it is because there's sand in the trailers shown so far. Yeah! But the thing is this game looks fun and will be available for the low, low price of free! >=D

Randomly generated weapon combinations, a ton of missions mostly. Pretty open ended with areas that can be warped and driven to.

The guns is the only aspect which is kind of unique seeing as they went overboard with it. But many of the other things were already done by games like Fallout 3, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Metro 2033. I just don't feel Borderlands stands out that much. And I also meant it like a general comment. I've seen it happen too much in youtube lately and I was wondering why.
