But it takes time to get the AAA games out.....and if you think nintendo lied about the games after launch...welll you might be right...I mean why would people buy a system right away if they think the games they want are a year away?? Oh yeah sorry about the double post ...but I'm not posy cramming so I don't think the mods will mind.
The difference between Sony's and Gamecube's launch is...

Nintendo had 2 competitor that were really threats.. Ps2 had one competitor and it wasn't even a threat. Ps2 didn't even need good games back then. But Nintendo does need them.
