Day 1

Picked an Oshawott (water Pokemon) from the gift basket Professor Juniper sent, proceeded to do battle and destroy my room.

Headed north, as usual, to Accumula Town where I encountered a group of Pokemon liberators who claim it's evil to keep pokemon in pokeballs, even though they do it. Also got into a fight with a pretty obnoxious guy who was awfully confident to just have one level 7 Purrloin in his party.

Continued on to Striaton City where I had to duel my friends a little more, and encountered my first of probably many gyms where the leader is out somewhere. Along the way I picked up my first pokemon, and proceeded to deposit all of them except a Purrloin.

Went east through the Dreamyard training grounds and took out some more trainers, before one of them gave me a fire monkey, Pansear. Headed back to the gym, pressed some colored buttons to open the curtains, and found out that the "leader" of this guy is actually 3 people! Not only that, but they choose which one fights you based on what your original Pokemon is weak too. Basically they're douchebags.

Luckily my Pansear was able to steam roll over the guys grass types, though.

After that I continued on and proceeded to battle and take money from some 4 year olds at a daycare, and then encountered Team Plasma again, who had stolen a pokemon from a kid.

I followed them west into a cave and laid the beat down on all of them, and caught a new pokemon for my party as well: Roggenrola.

Proceeded on to Nacrene City.

Day 2

Instead of hitting up the gym I continued west to catch some new Pokemon, and picked up a Throh, who took way more great balls than he should have to catch. Afterward I spent some time hunting Audino's to level him up.

Proceeded on to the gym where I had to solve a riddle by reading some books, which led me to a hidden passage below a bookshelf. The gym leader was below, and I decimated her with Throh's fighting moves.

Afterwards Team Plasma showed up and stole (we should just call them Team Clepto) a giant skull.

Burgh, the gym leader of Castelia, showed up and offered to help, so we followed them through Pinwheel Forest (where I took the more difficult path), and proceeded to take back the skull and catch a few new pokemon along the way, none of which I'm going to actually use.

Proceeded north across the most amazing bridge ever created, and entered Castelia City, which is amazing. Found a cafe that served me lemonade, and decided to call it a day.

At the end of the day, my team looks like this:

Dewott, Lvl 20
Throg, Lvl 21
Roggenrola, Lvl 19
Pansear, Lvl 15
Purrloin, Lvl 18
Blitzle, Lvl 10

To break pokecharacter:

You can farm Victini. If you faint him you leave the room and pop back in and he'll be back.

There are many reasons this is good, but the main reason is he drops about 700-1000 exp depending on the level of the pokemon that faints him.

That's retarded for the low levels that your pokemon have and is equivalent to ko'ing a gym leader's strongest pokemon at the time, and level 15 victini is much easier to kill.

More Journal stuff later today.

Yep, which leads into my next journal:

Day 3

I spent all of Day 3 exploring Castelia City - just enjoying the sights, partaking in some entertaining battles with other trainers and putting my primary quest of becoming the best there ever was on hold.

The first man I ran into in the city was kind of enough to give me a fire stone to evolve my Pansear with, but I think I'm going to hold off on using it.

After healing up at the PokeCenter I walked around the corner and entered a building called Battle Company, which was filled with clerks eager to battle. I defeated everyone on the 47th and 55th floor using my Oshawott and Throh. I have come to realize that Oshawott's razor shell attack can one hit most things, even without a type advantage. Throh has an immense amount of health meaning he can survive just about anything.

For defeating all the trainers on each floor I was awarded a spec scope and an exp share.

Next I continued down the oceanfront side of the city and entered a building called Passerby Analytics. The guy inside promoted me to statistician even though I don't even work there. Hopefully I don't get fired from a job I don't really have. I also answered a ton of questionnaires about my personal life to a girl I barely knew - I hope she isn't an axe murderer.

I dropped by the gym next just to see what it was like, but the leader, Burgh, who had just been defeated by Cheren, ran by me and told me to meet him at the pier. Not ready for any serious encounters yet, I decided to keep exploring the city.

I next entered the Central Plaza where I battled and defeated a dancer who used a Pansage - he then asked me to help him recruit other dancers. I also realized at this point that everyone and their mom has a Pan-something, so I'm going to replace mine with a different fire Pokemon asap.

After this I toured some more of the city - finding the other dancers and creating a dancing troupe, as well as dropping by an art gallery. I also found a company called Game Freak, although it's not clear to me what these people do.

Back in the Central Plaza I bought a ton of lemonade out of a vending machine. Pokemon seem to love this stuff more than super potions, and it's much cheaper.

North of there I found a man willing to help rename my Pokemon, so I decided to give my two favorites nicknames - Dewott is now Tiria, and Throh is now Urthrun. I also spent some time hanging out at an international party that I'm not sure I was actually invited to.

Content that I had seen everything there was to see, I headed south to the left most pier, and got on a boat to Liberty Gardens. Once there I had to stomp a few Team Plasma noobs, but after reaching the inner most part of the Lighthouse I discovered a rare pokemon called Victini which was being used to power the lighthouse. Attempting to capture it, I accidentally caused it to faint...but unlike most pokemon, this wasn't the end of him, and he returned any time I left the room.

I am now continuously sparring with Victini to train up my pokemon. Roggenrola is up to level 24, Tiria is 25, and Urthrun is 24.
