DC Universe Online
I was excited to see that Jim Lee was working with character design for DC Universe Online and it actually sparked an interest for me...
...until I found out that it probably won't come out until Dec 31, 2009.
Come ON.

It looked like a mess right now anyways. Let them get it ready to go and you'll be glad you waited.

Re: DC Universe Online
W00t, this thread has been going for two years.. and only 3 posts!
Anyhow, finally got into the beta for this game, and its actually pretty damn fun for an MMO. It takes a more action oriented stance on the whole thing. Part beat em up, part action RPG, which works surprisingly well.
Being on a console, there were several shortcuts, which are a pain in the ass, and being a beta there is a lot of rough edges.. A LOT

Re: DC Universe Online
My brother got into the beta for this. I liked how it uses some actual physics, unlike most MMO's. Character creation was fun, as was being able to fly/run super fast up the side of buildings.
It did have some rough edges though.

I think acrobats is the best movement.
While you aren't as fast, you still have added speed/ability to run on water. You can pretty much glide forever, which replaces flying. You get a grappling hook to scale buildings quickly.

Re: DC Universe Online
I really want to like this beta more, but it gets on my nerves with the freezing and the resetting it seems especially bad when you are in Metropolis.
