Aah, the sweet mystery of server populations. Our Deathwing server went from Deathwing through Deathping to Deadwing.

Should be a pretty popular server now, with the next expansion hitting soon.

I'm thinking of buying the game and renewing.... which reminds me... why can't they bloody give you a free month deal with the purchase of the game like other games do when they're new? It's not like it's going to hurt them much.

Anyways, I'll most likely go back, gain more levels and become a battleground dweller once again. Hopefully it's not as messed up as when I left it. And hopefully people in my server get serious about doing pvp so I can find a static.

I'm pretty sure you get a free month when you buy the retail version. I once saw a battered up box of the game + TBC + free month. It was discounted to €15, which is just a bit more than a month.

Of course I was clean and didn't buy it.

Which reminds me... if you do the free trial now, you can see how they changed everything for Cataclysm, right? And new race/class combinations are also included in the original game. I think.

I don't think the new classes are available in the original game, but you can see the changes in the game world (at least that's what my brother tells me

).

I'm thinking of starting as well. Just need to wait a bit more..

Yup, the new race/class combos have been available for about 2 weeks now.. since before the expansion dropped. You get the new combos, and can play through the new azeroth without having Cata.

The thing you can't do is level from 80-85, and you cannot be a Worgen or Goblin.

And you can't enter the Worgen/Goblin starting zones (plus other new zones).

It's so tempting to play the free trial. I'm just afraid that I'll waste all my holiday time on it.
