No way man, they've had 2.5D games since the PlayStation and N64 gen. Klonoa, Kirby, probably more.
Perhaps they disappeared for a while, but this gen we've already seen Lost Winds and several others.
I also think Nintendo won. I was personally disappointed, but that's because my expectations were too high. Zelda should have been more and better.
I also saw parts of the other conferences. They were even worse.
