Anyway, now that I've seen Avatar, I think it deserves some oscars.

And Danny, if you don't expect much from it, it will be a very enjoyable movie. Worth your €10 I'd say.

I find it odd that the film industry is drastically altering their awards so more people will watch on TV.

Either a movie is the best movie of the year, or it isn't, ratings and box office should have nothing to do with it. That said, I think this is probably a bait and switch and The Hurt Locker will win best picture.
