Can you price your collectibles at the value you paid for them, rather than the value they're worth? I hate to say it, but old video games aren't worth anything, and he doesn't have any of the big ticket items that I can see. Yes, if an insurance company would agree to insure his video game collection at an agreed value, but he would pay more in premiums for the increased coverage.
